Investigating Coral Bleaching: For Teachers

Explore this newly updated module for grades 6–12, launched in August 2024. Using current and historic data—like ocean surface temperature and accumulated heat stress—students will uncover how scientists monitor and evaluate the health of coral reefs around the world.

This 5-level module includes interactive maps, graphs, and videos, offering a deep dive into the science of coral bleaching and its far-reaching global impacts.
